Liverpool Tallest Tower Approved
Liverpool's position as Sydney's third-largest CBD is a step closer as Fender Katsalidis' design for the city's tallest commercial tower and its surrounding redevelopment gets the green light.
A visionary project for the area developed by Macky Corp, Liverpool Quarter will have a 23-storey curved tower which will be a focal point of the new Liverpool gateway.
At the corner of Scott and Bigge streets, the mixed-use project will have 25,000 square metres of office space, 1500 square metres of co-working, 640 square metres of retail including a refurbished 1888 Hotel.
"Liverpool Quarter is a landmark project that'll transform the area," Fender Katsalidis director MarkCurzon said. "The building will act as a regional marker welcoming arrivals into the city while creating a new civic precinct celebrating its heritage."
